Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make certain my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in soon after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
