The majority of us are hooked on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I do a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be certain that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
