The majority of us are hooked on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I do a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in soon after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
