I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware for your notebook. I can troubleshoot and fix your computer’s memory (RAM), hard disk (data recovery), external hard drive, solid-state hard disk SSD, chip (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.

Most of us are reliant on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge identification, and I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I shall move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
