I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your notebook. Most of us are reliant on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge identification, and I will notify you of the nature of the error, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I perform a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
