Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make certain that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
