I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware for your laptop. Most of us are hooked on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.
When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will inform you of the nature of the fault, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.
If you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the screen is blank
Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.
A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make certain that my repair would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
