Most of us are hooked on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge diagnosis, and I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I shall proceed in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
