The majority of us are hooked on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, and I will notify you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I correctly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
