Most of us are reliant on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

I can fix laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in soon after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
