Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be certain my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
