I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your notebook. Most of us are reliant on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
