I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your notebook. Most of us are reliant on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will notify you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I shall move in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can fix laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the issue and that I perform a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.

I will be away from Thursday until Monday. Please use the contact form to get in touch with a field tech!
