I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I correctly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the repair.
Laptop turns on but the screen is blank
Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.
A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be certain that my repair would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is common for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you wish to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.
Laptop is overheating
When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
