Most of us are reliant on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

I can fix laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. To get a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
