I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware for your notebook. The majority of us are reliant on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge identification, after which I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I will move in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a repair that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make certain my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I repair laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in soon after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
