Most of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will inform you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I shall proceed in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the issue and that I perform a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by trying to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be sure my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in soon after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
