Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The reason may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make sure my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
