I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your laptop. I can troubleshoot and repair your computer’s memory (RAM), hard disk (data recovery), external hard disk, solid-state hard disk SSD, chip (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.

Most of us are reliant on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, research information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, and I will notify you of the nature of the error, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I shall proceed in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I do a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make sure my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
