Most of us are hooked on our laptops to work, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the issue and that I perform a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be certain that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was created. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard disk or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
