Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make certain my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very probable your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
