Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have tried to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be certain my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal components and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
