I am also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware to your notebook. I can troubleshoot and fix your computer’s memory (RAM), hard disk (data recovery), external hard drive, solid-state hard disk SSD, processor (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.

The majority of us are reliant on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will notify you of the nature of the fault, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal components by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d make sure that my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal cost.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer from electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it is overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
