Most of us are reliant on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.
When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge identification, after which I will notify you of the nature of the error, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.
If you approve my quote I shall proceed in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).
I can fix laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.
Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.
Laptop turns on but the display is blank
Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the issue I usually turn around these repairs within two days.
A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.
A broken hinge would not let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by trying to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure my repair would last.
Laptop DC Jack replacement
Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re continuously being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.
Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they’re brought in soon after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all of the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal cost.
Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will become damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. For a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.
Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade
Whether you wish to increase the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.
When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.
An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan which does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a few hours and have you up and running again.
