Most of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this occurs, I am here to help out with getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will notify you of the nature of the fault, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I properly diagnose the problem and that I do a fix that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too frequently. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be certain that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost as long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with minimal cost.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely your laptop screen will get damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer from digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from laptops of all brands and. To get a cheap laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your requirements and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop gets too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it becomes very hot after a couple of minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature inside or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
