Most of us are reliant on our notebooks to work, communicate effectively, study information and amuse ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them , and I use them extensively making them prone to damage.

When this happens, I am here to assist in getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge diagnosis, after which I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

If you approve my quote I shall proceed in the repair straight away and it’ll usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I correctly diagnose the issue and that I do a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the computer keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause may be a faulty display, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the issue I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You might have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your notebook lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be sure my fix would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily because they are continuously being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in soon after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the notebook back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the laptop or if an object collides with it, it’s very likely that your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also normal for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard disk or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans could be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a couple of minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
