I’m also experienced in the installation and repair of hardware for your notebook. I can troubleshoot and repair your computer’s memory (RAM), hard drive (data retrieval ), external hard disk, solid-state hard drive SSD, processor (CPU), motherboard, video/graphics card, power supply unit (PSU), keyboard, sound card, CD drive, DVD, mouse, modem, router, and USB devices.

Most of us are reliant on our notebooks to operate, communicate effectively, study information and entertain ourselves. They’re a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running quickly. When you bring your laptop in, I will perform a free of charge identification, and I will notify you of the nature of the error, the options you have and provide a fixed quote.

Should you approve my quote I will proceed in the repair straight away and it will usually be ready within hours (subject to part availability).

I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will guarantee I properly diagnose the problem and that I perform a repair that’s cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It could be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will provide you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the repair.

Laptop turns on but the screen is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The reason could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t let you open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would make certain that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence if you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin within the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops which have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in soon after the spill was made. Originally, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to find out whether the components have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it is very likely your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer with digital damage and reach their end of life. I replace displays from notebooks of all brands and. For a cheap laptop display repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to improve the storage on your notebook, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this fast and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your requirements and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD to your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you believe that it is overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal components and generally, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you feel that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you feel that it gets very hot after a few minutes of use, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust increasing the temperature indoors or a faulty fan which does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is I can repair your laptop in a few hours and have you up and running again.
