Most of us are hooked on our laptops to operate, communicate effectively, research information and amuse ourselves. They are a part of our lives. I mostly carry them with us, and I use them extensively making them susceptible to damage.

When this happens, I am here to help out with getting you up and running fast. When you bring your laptop in, I will carry out a free of charge diagnosis, and I will inform you of the nature of the fault, the choices you have and provide a fixed quote.

I can fix laptops of all makes and models such as gaming laptops. Whether you’ve got a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the issue and that I do a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your notebook from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within one day I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can choose whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you may experience seeing that the laptop turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard light up but you can see nothing on the monitor. The cause may be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. Whatever the problem I usually turn around these repairs within two days.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have tried to close the lid in haste, or you may have dropped your notebook.

A broken hinge would not allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of additional damage to internal parts by attempting to operate it. I can repair your broken hinge cost-effectively and I would be certain that my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are frequently becoming damaged primarily since they’re always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it might damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they’re brought in shortly after the spill was created. Initially, I will disassemble the notebook, completely dry it out and clean all of the connectors and then execute a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. Most of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with nominal price.

Laptop screens are quite delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will get damaged. Additionally it is normal for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from notebooks of all brands and. For a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you wish to improve the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and wish to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I will consult you on your needs and then suggest the perfect hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop is overheating

When your laptop gets too noisy or you believe that it’s overheating, that is often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty as well as the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may lead to damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to prevent that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it becomes very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The reason could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the notebook and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.

I will be away from Thursday until Monday. Please use the contact form to get in touch with a field tech!
