I can repair laptops of all makes and models including gaming laptops. Whether you have a hardware or software fault my extensive experience will ensure I correctly diagnose the problem and that I do a fix that is cost-effective and long-lasting.

Several faults could prevent your laptop from turning on. It may be a faulty DC jack, a bad motherboard, bad RAM and others. Within 24 hours I will supply you with an accurate diagnosis so that you can decide whether to proceed with the fix.

Laptop turns on but the display is blank

Many times, you might experience seeing the notebook turns on by hearing the fans spin and the keyboard lighting up but you can see nothing on the screen. The cause could be a faulty screen, a faulty LCD cable, a battery or a motherboard issue. No matter the problem I usually turn around these repairs within 48 hours.

A broken hinge is something I see far too often. You may have attempted to close the lid in haste, or you might have dropped your laptop.

A broken hinge wouldn’t allow you to open and close your laptop’s lid easily and you would also run the risk of further damage to internal components by attempting to operate it. I can mend your broken hinge cost-effectively and I’d be certain my repair would last.

Laptop DC Jack replacement

Laptop DC power jacks are often becoming damaged primarily because they are always being connected to a charger. Hence in case you insert the charger forcibly or at a wrong angle it may damage the pin inside the DC jack calling for a replacement.

Very often I fix laptops that have suffered from accidental liquid spillages. Most often I manage to salvage them with minimal cost so long as they are brought in shortly after the spill was made. Initially, I will disassemble the laptop, completely dry it out and wash all the connectors and then perform a diagnosis as to learn whether the parts have suffered damage. The majority of the times I manage to put the laptop back into working order with minimal price.

Laptop screens are rather delicate. When you drop the notebook or if an object collides with it, it’s very probable that your laptop screen will become damaged. It is also common for screens to suffer with electronic damage and reach their end of life. I replace screens from laptops of all brands and. To get a cost-effective laptop screen repair, give me a call.

Laptop Hard Drive Upgrade

Whether you would like to increase the storage on your laptop, or you think your laptop is sluggish and want to install a faster storage device that I can do this quickly and cost-effectively. I’ll consult you on your needs and then suggest the right hard drive or SSD for your needs and install it.

Laptop overheats

When your laptop becomes too noisy or you feel that it’s overheating, that’s often a sign that fans may be damaged/really dusty and the thermal compound on the CPU (mainly) is dried.

An overheating laptop may cause damage to its internal parts and usually, it shuts itself down to avoid that. If you think that your laptop shuts down randomly without warning or if you believe it gets very hot after a few minutes of usage, then it probably suffers from overheating. The cause could be excessive dust raising the temperature indoors or a faulty fan that does not cool the laptop and circulate the air as it should. Whatever the cause is that I can repair your notebook in a couple of hours and have you up and running again.
