Hi, I’m Vlad Tabaranu, founder of Dr IT Services (est. 2000) and Dr IT SEO Services (est. 2010). For over 25 years, I’ve been helping people in Birmingham and across the West Midlands fix their computers, recover their data, and grow their businesses online.

My Journey

I started out in Iași, Romania, studying Medical Bioengineering, but I quickly discovered that my real passion was in technology. In 2000, I founded Dr IT Services, originally focused on helping students and families recover lost files and fix broken PCs.

That hands-on work taught me something important: computer repair isn’t just about machines – it’s about people. Behind every crashed hard drive is a story: coursework, family photos, small business accounts.

In 2010, I launched Dr IT SEO Services, helping local businesses with web design, SEO, and digital marketing. Just like with IT repairs, I apply the same philosophy: clarity, honesty, and long-term value.
